			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Non-profit organisaties kunnen hun voordeel doen met alle social media die nu voorhanden zijn. Als organisatie kun je in dialoog gaan met je publiek, je potentiële gever, en zo op een open manier communiceren over je activiteiten en over de geldstromen binnen de organisatie. Social media zijn in te zetten om betrokkenheid bij de doelgroep te faciliteren. De onderstaande presentaties geven tips over de mogelijkheden van bijvoorbeeld facebook, foursquare en twitter.</p>
<p>De kanttekening die ik hierbij meteen maak is dat je eerst goed de behoeftes van je doelgroep in kaart moet brengen en wat je daar wilt bereiken, voordat je specifieke middelen gaat inzetten. Iedereen kan een twitteraccount openen, maar wat wil je met twitter doen? Wil je de dialoog aangaan met je doelgroep? Wil je luisteren? Wil je fondsenwerven? Wil je bewustwording creëren?</p>
<p>Stel jezelf eerst deze vragen voordat je de tips van deze presentaties opvolgt.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Not really surprisingly for us but real conversations seem to be going on amongst brands and their audiences says a recent study form Burson-Marsteller. Eight out of ten of the largest 100 companies in the <a style="color: #666666; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;" href="http://157.166.224.109/magazines/fortune/global500/2009/index.html" target="_blank"><em>Fortune</em> Global 500 index </a> uses one or more popular social media platforms.</p>
<p>Global brands find value from engaging in social media. Twitter seems to be very popular with 65% of the brands having a presence here. Notable is that European brands have the same Twitter presence as the US brands, 70%.</p>

<p>Facebook and Youtube channels are also valued as important by half of the top brands because the use them quite seriously. Most brands use multiple accounts, channels, blogs, fan pages, names when using these social media. Most striking is that they really engage in conversations with their audiences in different varieties of conversations styles.</p>

Not everyone is willing to blog a whole article, but sending a comment or a re-tweet is easily done and integrated in online behaviour. It helps you decide where you should focus your social media strategy on, depending on your market. Social networks have experienced an explosive growth and this info-graphic gives you a good overview of the demographics of the users.</p>
<p>For instance, women  represent more than 55% of the population on  social networks such as Facebook and Twitter, whereas men use more reference sites such as Digg. What is also remarkable is that the age group from 35-54 is mostly represented throughout all the mentioned social networks.</p>

<p>Conveying thought leadership is a clear and promising chance for social brands. 60% of polled B2B marketers reported that thought leadership was at the top of the list for reasons they would engage in social networks. Generating leads and customer feedback served as the second and third top motivators for participation with 49% and 46%.</p>
<p>We can conclude that the dynamics of doing business and the role of influence share similar attributes that significantly benefit from socialized media and participation. So start being a social brand with thought leadership today.</p>

<li>After deals the main reason consumers &#8220;friend a brand&#8221; is because they are really a fan</li>
<li>Majority of consumers who engage with a social brand change from passive receivers into brand advocates almost instantly!</li>
<li>Mobile internet use skyrocketing</li>
<li>Multiple positive brand experiences build and make a brand</li>
<li>Connected Consumers are the new Mainstream</li>

<li>80% van de organisaties gebruikt LinkedIn als primaire tool om nieuwe werknemers te werven</li>
<li>Twitter gebruik gebeurt voor 80% via mobiele apparaten.</li>
<li>Dit jaar is het Boston College gestopt met het distribueren van  e-mail addressen aan nieuwe studenten!</li>
<li>Er zijn momenteel 200 miljoen Blogs. 54% v/d bloggers post of tweet dagelijks content.</li>

Studiedate.nl is een open social network waar studenten de regie zelf in handen hebben. Op basis van een speelse interactieve matchmeter koppelt Studiedate.nl scholieren aan studenten. De meest populaire social media zoals Hyves, MSN, YouTube, Flickr, Last.fm en Slideshare zijn volledig geintegreerd op Studiedate.nl. Participerende studenten kunnen via een persoonlijke profielmanager zelf bepalen welke social media zij willen inzetten om hun verhaal te vertellen.</p>
<p>Ter ondersteuning van de launch heeft Primitivi ook enkele middelen ontwikkeld zoals een poster en een banner.</p>
